A study of burials of Norse migrants was trumpeted by the popular press as showing that half of all Viking warriors were women.<sup>1</sup> This is not the case as Tracy V. Wilson <a href="http://www.missedinhistory.com/blog/raining-on-your-parade-about-those-women-viking-warriors/" target="_blank">explained on her blog</a>.
