Havhingsten fra Glendalough (The Sea Stallion from Glendalough) is an accurate reconstruction of the largest of the Skuldelev ships (Skuldelev 2), a 30m long warship. The ship was reconstructed by the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde using traditional materials and construction techniques, and sailed to Dublin and back in 2007-2008. It has a crew of 65 volunteers, who sail it at weekends and for a longer voyage in the summer, refining how it is sailed. For more information, see
