Kubb Vikingespil. 'The Viking game.' Also known as Kongespil [Game of Kings]. Outdoor/lawn game. One on one or team against team. Chuck wooden blocks ('kubb') to knock over opponent's knights. Goal is to capture opponent's king. Game apparently originates from Gotland, Sweden. Have read that it (a) is an old Viking game, (b) is a game from the Middle Ages and (c) was first invented in 1990.
